What a wonderful start to a New Year!

The New Year’s Day Ride was a huge success with about 100 people stopping to eat at Frank Raines Hall.

Thanks to Gary Vacarro, who kept us in warm scrambled eggs and blew the place clean before we left and to Chuck & John who greeted and organized.

As we start the new year, we are already looking forward to SCBC volunteer needs.  We will be involved in these community wide events to help support biking and a more healthy lifestyle.

March 18 – Modesto Marathon – ‘riding SAG’ people are needed
Apr. 21 – Earth Day – SCBC booth, handing out information
May 6 – Turlock Lake Road Race (CdV) – course marshals needed
May 12 – Ride for Mom & health fair – SCBC booth and all volunteer positions

May ?? – Ride to Work Day – SCBC booth
May 19 – Family Cycling Event – crit, SCBC booth
May 20 – Modesto Road Race – course marshals
