The Stanislaus County Bicycle Club was formed in 1982 by cycling enthusiasts, to promote recreational bicycling safety, touring, racing, tandem riding, and commuting.

The Club generally meets on the 2nd Wednesday on the month* (October, November, January - April) at 6:00 p.m. at a location changed annually and announced in our newsletter.  In lieu of the December meeting, the Club sponsors a Holiday Dinner Party.* Members and their spouses or significant others are invited to meet with other cycling enthusiasts in a festive social setting.

The May, June, July, August, and September meetings* are "family-oriented," usually meeting at local parks with an organized ride available before dinner.

Our monthly newsletter, Pacelines, features club ride information, meeting schedules, news of current biking legislation, cycling tips, a message from our President, a listing of organized rides in the area, and very some interesting stories and ride reports.

You can participate in a variety of club rides on almost any day of the week.  There's something to interest all our members— strenuous rides, leisurely paced rides, long rides and short ones, too!

We are affiliated with the League of American Bicyclists and have been since 1982.  We offer clinics on effective cycling, maintenance and safety.

Our major fund raising event of the year, the Fruit Yard Century Ride, is scheduled for the second Saturday of September.
