Rita Grodt's Memorial Ride

This Saturday, November 15th, 12:00pm

As many of you know, Rita wished for her cycling friends to come together to ride Del Puerto Canyon in her memory (and for her non-cycling friends to drive). Then, for all to return to her house for a party.

For those who are cycling, meet behind Jack In The Box on Rogers Rd. in Patterson at noon. We should be on our way up the canyon by 12:30. Friends and family who are driving, will leave from Rita’s house, at 1:00 pm.

The plan is for all to meet at Frank Raines park for a memorial service, then return to Rita’s house for a potluck dinner party.  For those who can, you are encouraged to bring a side dish to the party.

Start at 4PM at Bike Shop in Salida
Distance: 20mi, mostly flat. Done before dark!

THURSDAY, NOV. 27th - Valley Home Loop
Start at 8AM at Marie Callender’s, Coffee & Sylvan
Distance: YOUR CHOICE! 30mi OR 40mi, mostly flat.

FRIDAY, NOV. 28th for those not working!
Start at 9AM at Stouffer Park, Manley St in Ripon
Distance: YOUR CHOICE! 30mi OR 50mi, mostly flat.
